Hello! I’m Ashlynn.
Precious bits of my soul come from the sea, and she often calls them back.
I was born and grown in the warm red clay and big open skies of North Texas. On my 19th birthday, I transplanted this desert cactus to the heart of our country, into the rich soils of Nebraska.
Life has taught me a boatload of lessons since transplanting myself.
Lessons on family and friendship, identity, belonging, perception, loss and grief, self worth, behavior, health and ease, shame and dis-ease, recovery, spirit, mental power, body wisdom, our humanity… I’m learning life’s lessons every day.
Some of them I am relearning over and over again until I catch on. I am beginning to laugh and love myself– especially when I don’t catch on. Recently I noticed that when I’m relaxed and centered, I tend to catch on more often.
Creating and movement relax and center me. They remind me of the ocean, in constant motion, a home for all creation, what brings our planet life.
I find joy in my growth while making ceramic art and yoga practices, in creating an experience that balances and renews, and sharing it with my community.
I’m a soul learning how to be truly present with my whole self in this human experience, and in turn I am honored to be present with you in yours.
My vision is to make a space for us to openly play, dream, make, and share collectively.
This vision is all- inclusive!
It includes each other.
It includes showing up as we are.
It includes expansion.
It includes everyone that desires a space to slow down and reconnect with their self.
Greenwood Park Studio is my vision coming to life! And I am so grateful that you are here with us on our journey.
